At Watches and Wonders 2025, Alpina unveiled a new version of its Alpiner Extreme Automatic, featuring a striking ice-blue dial that evokes the cool tones of a glacier. This color theme is perfectly aligned with the watch’s sporty character, designed to withstand extreme conditions. What stands out is the dial's pattern of small triangles, reminiscent of mountain peaks, which reinforces the watch's connection to the alpine world. The Super-luminova-coated indices and hands ensure the time is legible even in low-light environments.

An interesting detail is the red triangle counterbalance on the second hand, adding a touch of personality to the design. The round bezel with six screws, paired with the cushion-shaped stainless steel case, creates a robust yet stylish appearance. With a diameter of 39.0 x 40.5 mm and a relatively slim height of just 11.5 mm, the watch is compact and comfortable to wear, a key factor for any sport-oriented timepiece.

The heart of the Alpiner Extreme Automatic is the AL-525 automatic movement, based on a Sellita caliber, offering a 38-hour power reserve and a frequency of 4 Hertz. The watch is also water-resistant to 200 meters, making it perfect for outdoor adventures.

The combination of matte and polished surfaces on the case, along with the integrated metal bracelet, gives the watch a modern and functional look. It is expected to be available in May 2025, with a price tag of $2,195.
