After two special editions presented earlier this year – the Aluminium Chronograph Ducati Special Edition and the Aluminium Amerigo VespucciBulgari unveils the Aluminium Sorayama Special Edition at this year's Geneva Watch Days. First introduced in 1998 and equipped with a self-winding caliber since 2020, the latest Aluminium works to exude Italian elegance and sporty chic at its finest.

The latest addition to the family was produced together with creative Hajime Sorayama. The Japanese hyper-realism artist's vision was to create a dial in the style of the classicism of the 1930s and 1940s that influenced the design of planes and cars at that time. Thus, the silver-toned dial features an intriguing shimmering perlage decoration and propeller-shaped hour-markers and hands enhanced with Superluminova.

The only numeral displayed is the 2, the artist’s lucky number. Another reference to Sorayama is the signature on the titanium back of the 40mm aluminum case, which is water resistant to 100 meters. Limited to 1,000 pieces and each secured to the wrist via a rubber strap, the watch is driven by the self-winding caliber BVL 192.

The Bulgari Aluminium Sorayama Special Edition retails for $3,300.
