The latest creation to emerge from the collaboration between Swatch and Blancpain in the trendy Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms collection is the Pink Ocean, a vibrant watch that stands out in bold pink, with many shades of magenta and rosy. Like the previous releases in the series, the color way for the eighth edition is inspired by a nudibranch, a tiny sea slugs that inhabits the oceans. Ceratodoris rosacea, also known as Hopkin's rose, was the inspiration behind the creation of the Swatch x Blancpain Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean. Reflecting the maritime origins of the collection, namely the legendary Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, the watch is water-resistant to a depth of 50 fathoms or 91 meters.

The 42.3mm case, with a height of 14.4mm, is crafted from Swatch’s own Bioceramic material and boasts a unidirectional Bioceramic bezel, with a three-dimensional glossy insert from bio-sourced glass. It frames the light pink dial with a grainy texture. The markers, Arabic numerals and hands are coated with Grade A Superluminova, ensuring excellent legibility in low-light conditions. There is also a date indication aboard, with white numerals on a color-coordinated background

Like its predecessors, the Scuba Fifty Fathoms Pink Ocean is powered by Swatch's genuine SISTEM51. This self-winding movement comprises just 51 parts including only one central screw, has a 90-hour autonomy and is fully anti-magnetic thanks to its hairspring made with Nivachron, ensuring high precision. In true Scuba Fifty Fathom's fashion, the movement is visible through the transparent case back. This one is decorated with an illustration of an ocean and a colorful nudibranch.

The two-piece NATO-style strap, which is made from recycled fishing nets, provides full visibility of the movement. The pin buckle and loops are also made of Bioceramic material.

Pricing is marked at $400.
