To celebrate the company's 135th anniversary, Carl F. Bucherer is reissuing a classic that impressed with its understated elegance and high precision in the 1960s. With attention to detail, the Heritage Chronometer Celebration revives the sleek, frill-free design of that decade.

The result is a three-hand timepiece presented in four editions: two in stainless steel, one in rose gold, and the final in yellow gold. The steel models, available with black and silver-plated dials, are limited to 188 pieces, while the gold versions, which appear with brown or silver-plated faces, are limited to 88 pieces.

The cases have a diameter of 39mm and elegantly hug the wrist thanks to their low profile of 8.45mm. Inside beats the automatic caliber CFB 1965.B1, which bears a chronometer certificate and indicates the date at 3 o'clock. The movement is concealed by a closed case back engraved with the historic Bucherer family crest, including a swan that nods to the company's home town of Lucerne.

Very fine mesh straps in Milanaise style beautifully complement the understated aura of this retro-inspired collection.

Pricing for the Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Chronometer Celebration is marked at $19,900 for the gold executions and at $5,900 for the steel iterations.
