Last year, Loiseau joined Girard-Perregaux to develop new in-house movements for the brand. Read below for Girard-Perragaux's official statement on the watchmaker's passing.
The management and employees of Girard-Perregaux and Kering wish to express their deep sorrow at the news of the sudden death of legendary watchmaker and philosopher of time, Dominique Loiseau and express their deepest condolences to his family and relatives. Dominique was a special person, a visionary who had the genius of creating and crafting masterpieces and, at the same time, to be himself a special 'mechanism ' of the beautiful circle of  watchmakers and all people working in our industry.
