Stowa expands its Antea Klassik KS collection with two new dial variations featuring Roman numerals for the first time. One has a historical inspiration and the other comes with a decidedly modern twist.

Drawing from its rich heritage, the German watchmaker which was founded in the Black Forest region and later moved to Pforzheim, revisits a striking design from the 1930s. In 1937, ten years after its foundation, Stowa offered a watch with a copper-colored dial and Roman numerals as well as the usual small seconds sub dial housed in a chrome-plated case. Now, this rare combination returns in a refined new form: the Antea Klassik KS with a vibrant pink gold-toned dial and sunburst finish. The polished stainless steel case, with a modest yet authentic to the time diameter of 35.5mm and a slender height of 6.8mm, emphasizes the vintage appeal, while the dial’s warm hue harmonizes beautifully with the black numerals and indexes. Blued steel hands add a visually compelling contrast.

The second new model embraces a more contemporary look. It features a sunburst dial in a subtle anthracite, paired with white Roman numerals and the same elegant blued hands. Like their Arabic-numeral counterparts, these models echo the design principles of timepieces Stowa has produced since 1937—watches shaped by the minimalist aesthetics of the Bauhaus movement. As such, they are part of the eponymous Stowa collection.

True to Bauhaus ideals, the Roman numerals on both new models are slender and elongated, radiating understated elegance. The hand lengths are precisely proportioned to the dial layout, enhancing the visual harmony.

Inside these elegant watches ticks the hand-wound Eta Peseux 7001 movement in top finish quality. This refined caliber features Geneva Waves, blued screws, and blued screws, all visible through the sapphire crystal display back secured with six screws.

Both color options are available with either a hand-stitched black leather strap or a stainless steel mesh bracelet. Pricing depends on the strap choice: €1,200 or $1,360 when converted to USD with a leather strap and €1,270 or approximately $1,440 with a mesh bracelet.
