WatchTime and Burdeen’s Jewelry Bring Collectors Together in Chicago
A photo report
WatchTime returned to Chicago last Friday, August 21, joining Burdeen’s Jewelry for an evening of watches, conversation, and collector community at the retailer’s East Oak Street showroom, where more than a hundred guests gathered for the event.
The event marked the second consecutive year that WatchTime and Burdeen’s have teamed up for a Chicago gathering, bringing local enthusiasts together with representatives from some of the industry’s leading watchmakers. Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to get hands-on with new and notable timepieces while connecting with fellow collectors, brand representatives, and members of the WatchTime and Burdeen’s teams.
Participating watchmakers included Baume & Mercier, Glashütte Original, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Norqain, Panerai, Piaget, Roger Dubuis, Tudor, Vacheron Constantin, and Ulysse Nardin, offering a wide-ranging look at contemporary watchmaking across the showroom. Watch accessory maker WOLF also joined the evening.
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres accompanied the displays, giving guests plenty of time to explore the watches, compare wristwear, and catch up with Chicago’s collector community, with the evening concluding with a raffle.
