IWC Introduces IWC. Curated.: A Certified Selection of Historical Watches

Joining the ranks of brands like Rolex and Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC Schaffhausen launches its own program for expertly restored vintage timepieces. "IWC. Curated." offers collectors the chance to acquire hand-picked watches from the brand’s most significant eras, now available in select boutiques worldwide.

The allure of vintage watches continues to grow, driven by collectors’ desire for authenticity, provenance, and timeless design. To meet this demand, IWC Schaffhausen has launched IWC. Curated., a new program offering carefully selected historical watches restored and certified at the brand’s headquarters. Following similar initiatives by Rolex (Certified Pre-Owned) and Jaeger-LeCoultre (The Collectibles), IWC now joins a small circle of leading Swiss maisons that provide enthusiasts with direct access to historical models through official brand channels. Each IWC. Curated. timepiece is meticulously inspected and serviced by the brand’s vintage specialists and comes with an official certificate of authenticity and the IWC International Limited Warranty, which can be extended to eight years.

Every IWC. Curated. watch is sourced and selected by the IWC Schaffhausen Museum, with a focus on references that represent pivotal moments in the brand’s more than 150-year history. Vintage watchmakers — many with decades of experience working on historical calibers — restore cases, movements, and bracelets as faithfully as possible to their original condition. The goal is to respect the integrity of the watch, using authentic and, wherever possible, period-correct components. IWC’s vintage specialists have privileged access to the brand’s corporate archives, a vast repository of technical documents and spare parts for nearly every watch produced in Schaffhausen. This allows them to service and restore watches to a standard that few independent workshops can match. Once the process is complete, each watch is issued an official certificate confirming its authenticity and provenance.
