TAG Heuer and TaylorMade Team Up on the Connected Calibre E5 Golf Watch

TAG Heuer and TaylorMade bring golf analytics to the wrist with a limited-edition Connected Calibre E5 featuring Strokes Gained analysis, automatic shot detection, and a co-branded Spider putter.

TAG Heuer’s relationship with golf has moved through a few distinct phases. In 2005, the brand entered the sport with a quartz golf watch, bringing its long-running interest in precision timekeeping into a game defined less by speed than by control, rhythm, and repeatability. In 2019, that approach shifted with the TAG Heuer Connected Golf Edition, which turned the watch into a digital tool for course mapping, round tracking, and performance review. Now, the brand is taking the next step in its sporty smartwatch evolution with a new collaboration built around one of the sport’s best-known equipment makers: the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45mm x TaylorMade Edition.

The new limited-edition connected watch brings TAG Heuer’s smartwatch platform together with TaylorMade’s performance-analysis expertise, creating a golf-focused version of the Connected Calibre E5 designed to help players better understand where their rounds are won and lost. The launch also includes a co-branded Spider ZT x TAG Heuer putter and a suite of TaylorMade x TAG Heuer accessories, extending the collaboration beyond the wrist and further into the equipment side of the game.

The watch itself is based on the 45mm Connected Calibre E5 platform and features a grade 2 titanium case with brushed and sandblasted finishing. Unlike other versions of the Calibre E5 collection, the titanium case is presented without black DLC coating, giving it a lighter, more equipment-inspired look that connects visually to TaylorMade’s clubs. The black ceramic bezel is engraved with an 18-hole scale, while the TaylorMade logo appears at 6 o’clock on the bezel and again on the crown. Subtle striping on the case and strap draws from the face of a golf club, keeping the design references specific without turning the watch into a full novelty piece.

The blue, black, white, and silver color scheme continues across the strap, which combines blue leather with a black rubber base, grey stitching, and a white central line. An additional stretch textile strap is included in the box, giving the watch a more sport-driven option for play. Around back, the titanium caseback is finished in black sandblasted DLC and integrates the heart-rate sensor.

The more meaningful update to previous Connected Calibre E5 watches, however, is in the software. The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 x TaylorMade Edition is built around enhanced golf performance tracking, including automatic shot detection and Strokes Gained analysis powered by TaylorMade. During a round, TAG Heuer’s algorithms register shots and positions without requiring interaction from the player, allowing the watch to capture data while the golfer stays focused on the course. That information is then processed through TaylorMade’s performance analysis to show where strokes are gained or lost across different parts of the game.

For golfers, that makes the watch less about simply recording a score and more about building a clearer picture of performance over time. Strokes Gained has become one of the more useful metrics in modern golf because it compares a player’s shots against a defined baseline, showing whether improvement is coming from driving, approach play, short game, putting, or decision-making. On the watch, that analysis is supported by golf-specific complications that can display metrics such as longest drive, best score, last score, upcoming round, total rounds played during the year, and total birdies.

The TaylorMade collaboration also brings two exclusive watch faces. The first, Momentum is inspired by the motion of the golf swing, with a hand movement that continuously draws the TaylorMade logo. While the second, Topography, meanwhile, takes its cues from the contours of a golf course and incorporates indexes influenced by TaylorMade’s Spider putter. Additional reskins of TAG Heuer watch faces use the color codes of the collaboration.

Outside of golf, the watch remains a full Connected Calibre E5. It runs on TAG Heuer OS and features a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen with sapphire glass and an always-on display. Battery life is rated at up to two days in performance mode, up to three days in low-power mode, and up to 17 hours in sport mode, with up to 12 hours available for golf. Fast charging provides up to one day of use in 30 minutes, with a full charge taking 90 minutes. The watch also includes dual-band GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5100+ chipset, and sensors for heart rate, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, microphone, barometer, and sleep-tracking metrics including SpO2, breathing rate, heart-rate variability, and resting heart rate. It is compatible with iOS 18 and later and Android 13 and later.

Completing the release is the Spider ZT x TAG Heuer putter, a co-branded version of TaylorMade’s Spider family. The putter includes a TAG Heuer logo sightline and topographic textures drawn from the watch face, and comes with a co-branded headcover, ball marker, and dedicated packaging. The broader accessory collection includes a TaylorMade x TAG Heuer duffle bag, co-branded hats, and co-branded golf gloves.

The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45mm x TaylorMade Edition is available now with pricing set at $2,550.
