Ralph Lauren Black Ceramic The Ralph Lauren Sporting Chronograph Black Ceramic introduces the high tech material into the collection for the first time in the form of ceramic zirconia, typically used in demanding applications such as jet engine components. The nearly scratchproof case and bracelet are light weight and comfortable. This piece is available in 39mm and 45mm sizes. Behind the silky matte exterior and visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is a Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture movement made for Ralph Lauren and bearing the caliber designation RL750. The movement consists of 261 components and beats at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 48 hours. The center chronograph hand measures elapsed seconds, with a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock. The date is located at 6 o'clock.
