In production continuously since 1938, the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date, originally envisioned as a tool watch for aviators, has become one of the Swiss independent brand's signature piece, even playing a key role in its revival as an all-mechanical brand in the wake of the 1970s Quartz Crisis. Part of its DNA are the namesake large crown and pointer date as well as the subsidiary seconds, railroad-minute track, and raised Arabic numerals that are coated with Superluminova for nighttime readability.

At this year's Watches and Wonders, Oris flies the strait with two new charming additions equipped with a salmon-like terracotta and a sage-green dial. Their grained surface makes for beautiful backdrop of the signature elements. With love to detail, the tip of the pointer-date hands are color coordinated.

The Big Crown Pointer Date Calibre 403 take to the skies with 40 mm stainless steel case that houses the in-house developed Caliber 403. This self-winding movement with a five-day power reserve, elevated anti-magnetism, and a 10-year warranty was first introduced in the Big Crown in 2021.

Oris offers the newcomers with a bracelet for $4,300 or a Cervo Volante leather strap with a deployant clasp for $4,100. They will hit the stores in April 2025.

For fans of more daring colors and an even better price point, Oris brings three more executions that will become a part of the core collection to Geneva. The 40mm cases of the Big Crown Pointer Date are fitted with warm yellow, turquoise blue, and calming lilac dials – three colors chosen to "bring a daily dose of joy to the wrist," as Oris says.

They are powered by the Sellita-based Oris 754 self-winding movement. All three are available with a new metal bracelet with brushed and polished H-links and a seamless folding clasp and priced at $2,300
