As the Chinese New Year continues to inspire special-edition timepieces across the watch industry, Bulova now adds its own distinctive voice to the tradition. The New York City–born brand that celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2025, unveils its first-ever Lunar New Year watch: the limited-edition Super Seville “Year of the Horse.” Marking a milestone for Bulova, the model blends the design-driven aesthetic with the cultural symbolism and celebratory spirit of the Chinese Zodiac. Dedicated to the Year of the Horse, which is associated with vitality, freedom, and perseverance, the Super Seville stands as both a statement of artistry and a showcase of Bulova’s proprietary Precisionist quartz technology.

Crafted in a gold-tone stainless-steel case with a grooved coin-edge bezel and matching bracelet, the watch features a layered red-and-gold dial with a depiction of a rearing stallion, framed by floral motifs. There is a date window at 3 o'clock, which is enlarged by a lense in the sapphire crystal. Superluminova on hands and markers ensure legibility at nicht. Underscoring its cultural significance, the edition is limited to 888 individually numbered pieces, a nod to the number eight’s association with good fortune. Power comes from Bulova’s high-performance Precisionist movement, renowned for its exceptional accuracy and smooth sweeping seconds hand.
