32 years young and yet a classic of German watchmaking— the Tangente has been the face of Nomos Glashütte since the brand debuted in 1992. As a timepiece from the very beginning, it combines all the characteristic features that lovers appreciate about the brand: classic simplicity, straightforward design inspired by the Werkbund and Bauhaus, and sophisticated mechanics.

The dial with five numerals, three hands and the small seconds at 6 o'clock boasts exceptional recognizability. Its distinctive appearance is accentuated by the slim bezel and low case height. Over the course of three decades, the Tangente has continued this winning formula with a wide range of models and sizes without compromising its original personality. Today, the Tangente collection comprises 29 models in four case sizes, ranging from the classic three-hand watch to models with power reserve indicator and date.

At Watches and Wonders 2024, Nomos Glashütte presents this icon in a limited special edition of 31 models with date in expressive color codes, each limited to 175 pieces, as a tribute to 175 years of Glashütte watchmaking:

One of them is the Tangente 38 Date 175 Years of Glashütte Watchmaking Castle Green, which, like its colorful counterparts, is powered by the genuine DUW 4101 caliber with manual winding and patented date mechanism regulated according to chronometer values.

Thanks to the slim architecture with a thickness of only 2.8mm, the stainless steel case has a height of just 6.8mm. It is attached to a fabric strap.
