Mido has reimagined the its popular Commander 1959, introducing a bold new look that fuses retro aesthetics with a modern, digital-inspired twist. The dial features a vivid explosion of colorful "pixels" in shades of pink, blue, and luminous hues, adding a playful, mosaic-like or psychedelic touch to the watch's distinctive vintage charm.

The intricate pattern, reminiscent of digital art, is set against a sleek black background. Thanks to Superluminova coating on the bold hands and hour markers, the Commander 1959 also comes to life in the dark.

Other than that, the Commander 1959 retains its defining elements, such as the polished monocoque stainless steel case with a diameter of 37 mm and the slim bezel. At its heart ticks Mido's Caliber 80, a self-winding movement with an impressive 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron anti-magnetic balance spring.
