A Tribute to the Eiffel Tower: Mido's New Commander

Swiss brand Mido has a deep connection with architecture. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this relationship, it has launched four limited timepieces in 2022. The final release in the series is the Commander – Inspired by Architecture 20th anniversary Limited Edition. The stainless steel timepiece has a diameter of 40mm and features an elegant sun-brushed anthracite-colored dial with polished hour markers. Superluminova on the hands and the markers ensure perfect readability at night. A special feature referring to the most famous sight of Paris is the marker at 12 o'clock mimicking the shape of the Eiffel Tower. The layout also includes a weekday and date indication.

The Commander – Inspired by Architecture 20th anniversary Limited Edition is powered by the self windig caliber Mido 80 SI, which is based on ETA C07.821. Finished to a high standard, it amasses a power reserve of 80 hours and earns a C.O.S.C. chronometer certificate for proven precision. In addition, it features a silicon balance spring which further enhances the chronometric performance.

Pricing for the Mido Commander – Inspired by Architecture 20th anniversary Limited Edition is marked at approximately $1,490 when converted to USD.
