SPB511 & SPB509: A Nod to Seiko’s Legendary 1960s Divers

The SPB511 and SPB509 are inspired by two of Seiko's most legendary dive watches from the 1960s, with the SPB511 honoring the 1965 model and the SPB509 reflecting the design of the 1968 dive watch. These reimagined creations stay true to the spirit of their originals but offer modern enhancements.

The SPB511 features a striking silver dial, paying homage to Seiko's first dive watch released in 1965, while the SPB509 sports a blue dial, inspired by the 1968 Diver’s design. Both models are adorned with a bold wave pattern that nods to the brand's iconic "Great Wave" aesthetic.

Each model is limited to only 6,000 pieces worldwide, ensuring exclusivity. The SPB511 will be available in May 2025 for $1,400, while the SPB509 will hit the market in June 2025 for $1,750.

SLA081: A High-end Professional Diver's Watch

For those seeking extrem performance, the SLA081 offers a water resistance of 600 meters, making it suitable for saturation diving. The watch features a one-piece titanium case with a substantial 45.4mm diameter, designed to withstand the toughest underwater conditions. It is equipped with a specially developed L-shaped seal that prevents helium intrusion in the pressure chamber—no need for additional helium escape valves.

The dial is framed by a one-way rotating stainless steel bezel with a diamond-like carbon coating, making it six times harder and more scratch-resistant. Its captivating blue tone, which darkens toward the outer edge, evokes the deep ocean, and the finely textured surface mimics the vastness of the sea.

For enhanced reliability, the luminescent indices are integrated directly into the dial during production, ensuring they stay in place even during vibrations. A clear lacquer coating adds depth and brilliance to the dial, making it not only functional but also visually striking. The SLA081 is powered by the new Caliber 8L45, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a daily accuracy of +10 to -5 seconds. An optimized mainspring and movement mounting improve shock resistance and extend the watch's longevity, offering a remarkable 72-hour power reserve.

The SLA081 will be available in July 2025 for $4,600.
