Drawing inspiration from Jaeger-LeCoultre's round watches from the 1950s and 1960s, the Master Control collection beautifully symbolizes the Grande Maison's technical expertise and savoir-faire in respect to sophisticated design. The Swiss manufacture now introduces an eye-catching new variation to it: the Master Control Chronograph Calendar in pink gold with a black dial. Recalling the colored watch dials of the mid-20th century, the complete calendar and bi-compax chronograph re-imagines their vintage appeal in a gorgeous contemporary style.

The dial is framed by a pulsometric scale marked around the flange (a traditional indication originally developed for physicians to measure the heart rate), which, in keeping with tradition, is marked in red. Creating a dynamic contrast with the black dial, the red is repeated on each of the three azurage finished sub-dials and in the day and month windows. There is also a circular moon-phase indication including a pointer date on board. The refined appeal is completed by the pink gold dauphine hands and applied trapezoidal indexes.

The Master Control is presented with a diameter of 40mm and a height of 12.05mm and distinguished by beautiful finishes, such as the satin-brushing on the case sides and lugs while the bezel, crown, pushers, and lug bevels are polished. It is driven by the self-winding manufacture caliber 759. This integrated chronograph movement with a 65-hour power reserve features a column-wheel chronograph mechanism with vertical clutch, allied to a triple calendar with moon-phase display.

Its superb finishing quality is visible through the sapphire crystal case-back and includes Côtes de Genève patterns, blued screws, and Jaeger-LeCoultre’s open-worked gold rotor bearing the ‘JL’ motif.

Pricing for the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar is marked at $35,200.
