Citizen is adding a new limited-edition piece to its mechanical Series 8 collection in the ref. 831. Featuring an ice-blue, textured dial, this stunning new self-winding sports watch will be available in a worldwide edition of only 1,800 pieces from March 2025.

The watches in Citizen's Series 8 lineup are known for their practical features and elevated design, and this new limited edition is no exception. The geometric pattern on the luminescent dial, which recalls a crystal or kaleidoscope pattern, beautifully reflects light, with the refreshing ice-blue color inspired by clear water. There's also a nicely beveled date window at 3 o'clock.

The octagonal case, water-resistant to 100 meters, complements the dial's geometric motifs perfectly with its sharp lines and polished surfaces. It measures 40.0mm by 11.6mm and is equipped with an integrated bracelet with H-shaped links. The crown is protected by a guard.

Inside, the 831 features Citizen's in-house Caliber 9051 with a 42-hour power reserve, which comes with the added benefit of enhanced magnetic resistance. The nicely decorated movement, which comes to life through an exhibition case back, operates at 4 Hz and offers an accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds per day.

Pricing is marked at $1,095.
