Aqua-Green for a Billion Oysters: Oris Unveils the Aquis Date New York Harbor Limited Edition II
Oris returns to New York City with the Aquis Date New York Harbor Limited Edition II, a 2,000-piece diver created in support of the Billion Oyster Project. The nonprofit aims to restore one billion oysters to New York Harbor by 2035, helping to revive the ecosystem and improve water quality. So far, the project has reintroduced around 150 million oysters, each capable of filtering up to 50 gallons of water per day and fostering marine biodiversity. Oris has long been committed to protecting the environment and aquatic ecosystems, supporting causes ranging from coral reef restoration to safeguarding endangered river systems and the Wadden Sea. With this special edition, the brand from Hölstein reinforces its dedication to ocean health and invites watch lovers to join in the mission.
