Oris returns to New York City with the Aquis Date New York Harbor Limited Edition II, a 2,000-piece diver created in support of the Billion Oyster Project. The nonprofit aims to restore one billion oysters to New York Harbor by 2035, helping to revive the ecosystem and improve water quality. So far, the project has reintroduced around 150 million oysters, each capable of filtering up to 50 gallons of water per day and fostering marine biodiversity. Oris has long been committed to protecting the environment and aquatic ecosystems, supporting causes ranging from coral reef restoration to safeguarding endangered river systems and the Wadden Sea. With this special edition, the brand from Hölstein reinforces its dedication to ocean health and invites watch lovers to join in the mission.

The new model is based on the popular Aquis Date and is distinguished by an aqua-green mother-of-pearl dial, reminiscent of oyster shells. The stainless steel case measures 43.5mm in diameter and is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel featuring a minutes scale in relief. A domed sapphire crystal, anti-reflective on the inside, protects the dial, whose hands and indices are coated with Superluminova for night-time readability. Water-resistant to 300 meters, the Aquis Date New York Harbor Limited Edition II houses the Oris Caliber 733, based on Sellita, with automatic winding, date display at 6 o’clock, stop-seconds function, and a 41-hour power reserve.
