Among the newcomers to Watches and Wonders 2024, Eberhard & Co. presented two new chronographs, the Chronographe 1887 Édition Limitée (ref. 31081), limited to 250 pieces with a telemeter and tachymeter scale, and the Chronographe 1887 Automatique (ref. 31082) with a tachymetric scale.

As the name suggests, these two timepieces enrich the 1887 Collection, which was inaugurated in 2019 as a tribute to the brand's founding date.

Their calibers illustrate the technical prowess of the La Chaux-de-Fonds based brand throughout its long history. Harking back to the 1930s, the Chronographe 1887 Édition Limitée and the Chronographe 1887 Automatique are inspired by exhibition pieces in the Eberhard & Co. museum, which will be also on display at the brand's booth at Watches and Wonders.

They are presented in stainless steel cases with exhibition case backs that reveal the beautifully crafted and lavishly decorated movements. While the caliber EB 280, which powers the limited edition, is hand-wound, the EB 380, which is at the heart of the ref. 31082, is self-winding. Both are equipped with a column wheel for the precise chronograph operation and offer a flyback function. Thanks to a special lever the chronograph reset button is integrated into the crown.
