A true gentleman

A gentleman is defined by composure, reliability, and understated style— qualities increasingly sought after in modern wristwatches. So-called “go anywhere, do anything” models that blend elegance with everyday practicality continue to gain traction. With the new Gentleman 38mm, Tissot responds to this trend, presenting a timepiece that carries itself with quiet confidence across a wide range of settings.

Refined Proportions for Modern Wear

Following the success of the 40-mm version introduced in 2020, Tissot expands the Gentleman collection with a more compact execution. The 316L stainless steel case measures 38mm in diameter and 11.5mm in height, offering well-balanced proportions that ensure presence without excess. The case, water-resistant to 100 meters, features a combination of satin-brushed and polished surfaces, complemented by a slim bezel that enhances its refined profile. A slightly domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal adds visual depth while offering excellent legibility from all angles.

Proven Mechanics with Everyday Reliability

Visible through the transparent caseback, the automatic Powermatic 80 movement (caliber C07.611) drives the Gentleman. It offers a power reserve of up to 80 hours, making it particularly suited for daily wear and rotation. Equipped with a Nivachron balance spring, the movement is resistant to magnetic fields, temperature variations, and shocks. Additional features include a hacking seconds function and a quick-set date, ensuring precise and convenient time adjustment.

Four Dial Options

The Gentleman 38 mm is available with four dial options— silver, black, dark blue, and dark green— each underscoring the model’s restrained and versatile character. A refined sunburst finish enhances the play of light across the dial surface. Faceted hour markers and bold hands are coated with Superluminova, ensuring optimal readability in low-light conditions. The date display at 3 o’clock integrates seamlessly into the overall design. The same rings true for the three-row integrated bracelet featuring polished center links, combining wearing comfort with a subtle sense of refinement. Thanks to a quick-release system, it can easily be paired with a variety of 18-mm straps, from leather to Milanese mesh, allowing for further personalization.
