Just in time for the start of summer, Omega unveils a feminine re-imagination of its sporty yet elegant Seamaster Aqua Terra line, introducing a refined 30mm case size that marks a significant evolution for the collection. It’s a bold move, not just because the case is smaller, but because it signals a deeper shift in how the brand adapts proportions, performance, and the evolving needs of a modern-day women. This isn't just a size addition, it's a statement that the smaller Aqua Terra deserves its own place within the brand's catalogue as a fully realized expression of Omega's craftsmanship and design vision.

No fewer than 12 new references make up this 30mm debut, ranging from minimalist stainless steel models to diamond-accented variants and two-tone designs, all with a water-resistance rating of 150 meters. There is also one model in Sedna Gold and three references in Moonshine Gold, available in solid gold or a choice between three two-tone gold combinations with stainless steel. In addition, ladies can choose from a beautiful array of dial colors, each adding a fresh accent to the refined design of the three-hand watch, which features eleven distinctive "sail boat" hour markers and a framed date display at 6 o'clock.

Downsizing a model to appeal to a broader or more female demographic has been a dominant trend in the watch industry for some years. However, what Omega has accomplished with the new Aqua Terras goes far beyond. Rather than simply miniaturize an existing design, they’ve designed two brand-new self-winding movements tailored to fit this smaller format, ensuring that performance and reliability remain the same as the regular collection.

Incorporating Omega’s renowned Co-Axial escapement, caliber 8750 and caliber 8751 feature a compact 20mm diameter, enabling their seamless integration into the elegant proportions of the latest timepieces. It goes without saying that both are certified Master Chronometers, offering a resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss thanks to a free-sprung balance with a silicon balance spring as well as a power reserve exceeding 48 hours.

“The most beautiful part is the one you cannot immediately see, our new calibers represent Omega’s highest expression of engineering, hidden within yet defining the watch’s essence.”

Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega

Accompanying the launch is the campaign titled “My Little Secret”, spotlighting six influential women who bring the collection to life through their creativity and individuality. The ambassadors from the realms of film, music, and fashion include Ashley Graham, Danielle Marsh, Tems, Ariana DeBose, Marisa Abela, and Sunday Rose Urban Kidman.
