Precision at Full Throttle: Mido Multifort Chronometer1 Racer

Mido channels the spirit of motorsport with the new Multifort Chronometer¹ Racer — a precision-driven sports watch featuring a black PVD case, Geneva-striped dial with racing accents, and a COSC-certified automatic movement with silicon balance spring and 80-hour power reserve.

With the launch of the Multifort Chronometer1 Racer, Mido presents a sports watch that celebrates speed, accuracy, and motorsport design. The black dial, decorated with vertical Geneva Stripes, features scales in orange, light blue, and white, framed by a slim bezel with black PVD coating. Faceted indexes and hands coated with Super-LumiNova ensure legibility in all lighting conditions, further enhanced by the domed sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating. The day and date display at 3 o’clock is executed with white lettering on a black background.

The black PVD-coated stainless-steel case, 42mm in diameter and water-resistant to 100 meters, alternates between satin-brushed and polished surfaces and is complemented by a black PVD-coated bezel and screw-down crown. Inside, the Multifort Chronometer1 Racer houses the self-winding Caliber Mido 80 Si, based on the ETA C07.821. This COSC-chronometer-certified movement incorporates a silicon balance spring, which is resistant to shocks and magnetic fields, and offers a power reserve of 80 hours. Its fine decorations, including blued screws, Geneva Stripes, and a rotor engraved with the Mido logo, are visible through the transparent case back.
