Swiss watch brand Norqain has just launched five new references in its Independence collection – a nod to five successful years as an independent brand. The watches were launched in Zermatt, Switzerland, where the brand operates a flagship boutique and currently is a sponsor of the Zermatt Unplugged music festival. Jean-Claude Biver: “An important part of Norqain's potential is its strong community, which is made up of a younger generation and is always growing. In addition, the dynamic team dares to challenge industry standards and does so with enduring passion. I am proud to be part of this team and support its work as an Advisor to the Board."

There are two 40-mm versions, for the first time with gradient dials (green: N3008S03A/ES301, brown: N3008S03A/NS301) and a “scratched” finish (which is applied by hand, which means that every model is in theory unique). Both watches are powered by the COSC-certified NN08 (Sellita SW 200-1). In addition, there are also two new 42-mm Skeleton versions (blue: N3000S03A/301A, black with DLC: NB3000B03A/303), also powered by a Sellita SW 200-1 (NN08S) with 38 hours of power reserve. Most expensive option is the N3008SD03A/MB30D: The mint-colored mother-of-pearl dial comes with 12 diamond indexes, the bezel is set with 60 diamonds. Prices start here at $5,980 (strap), on metal bracelet, the price is $6,250. Speaking of the bracelet:

As part of the launch of these five new models, we are also introducing our first micro-adjustment bracelet – a stainless steel bracelet that can be shortened by 9mm on the fly. This micro-adjustment can be done on the clasp without any tools. [...] The design of the steel bracelet is similar to our existing metal bracelet, however the links are now fully brushed. This bracelet is available with these five new references and will also be rolled out in other collections with upcoming launches in 2023.

Norqain

The 42-mm Skeleton Blue and DLC retail for $3,990 on strap, and for $4,290 on bracelet. The 40-mm versions with gradient dials are $2,990 (bracelet) and $2,720 (strap).
