Three years ago, watch industry veteran Manuel Emch, freelance designer Barth Nussbaumer and Amr Sindi (thehorophile) decided it was time to create a completely new watch brand in order to "to truly, fully manifest objects they envision without the compromises of structure." Today, the Kollokium Projekt 01 (K,P–n°01) was officially unveiled, the brand's first creation has been made in a limited run of 99 pieces that was offered to friends and family of the three founders (at a price of CHF 2,666.66 each). Other executions of Projekt 01 can be expected "during the first quarter of 2024."

We had the chance to see the inaugural watch a couple of weeks ago:

For the two-part, 40-mm steel case, a die-casting process was chosen, resulting in a granular texture. On the dial, 468 pins were applied, a look that was inspired by pin art boards. Movement is the La Joux-Perret G101.

Basically, a Swiss made watch that can get wet.
