Head Start: Panerai Announces New Luminor Luna Rossa

Just in time for the start of preparations for the next America’s Cup, to be held in Barcelona in 2024, and simultaneously with the renewal of the partnership with the Italian sailing team, Panerai launches the Luminor Luna Rossa in a new look. The special edition of only 1,500 pieces is one of the brand’s few models with a light dial.

Green fluorescent gray Super-LumiNova and a small red second hand stand out against the white background. The three-hand watch sets sail in a 44-mm stainless steel case and is powered by the manufactory’s hand-wound caliber P.6000 with three-day power reserve and a stop-seconds function.

Water-resistant to 100 meters, the Luna Rossi comes with two straps: one is made of gray fabric and rubber and adorned with a red stripe and the team logo and one classic rubber strap. Pricing for the new Panerai Luminor Luna Rossa is marked at $5,900.
