As its name suggests – leggera is Italian for "lightweight–" the Formex Essence Leggera has its entrance in a notably light case made of carbon fiber composite, endowed with a crown and bezel crafted from Zirconium Oxide ceramic. Produced in-house, this composite, according to Formex, is particularly resistant and made-to-last.

Joining the existing 43mm model, five new versions with five dial options are being offered: Forged Carbon, Cool Grey, Electric Blue, Arctic White and Mamba Green. Each of the colorways additionally feature different surface techniques.

The Essence Leggera, which boasts the brand's case suspension system for shock absorbance and offers a water resistance to 100 meters, is powered by a Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1 self-winding movement with a power reserve of 41 hours. The COSC-certified caliber comes to life through the exhibition case back.
