Aston Martin and Girard-Perregaux have teamed up to create the Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition, blending British automotive heritage with Swiss watchmaking expertise. The standout feature in the watch is its vibrant green dial, crafted using an intricate 14-step process with 15 layers of iridescent automotive paint. The dynamic hue shifts from green to orange depending on the angle, echoing the iconic shade favored by Aston Martin. The extraordinary color choice makes for a great background for three snailed counters, namely, a 30-minute chronograph register, a 12- hour chronograph register and a small seconds display and the date between 4 and 5 o'clock, all Laureato signatures since its introduction in 1975.

Crafted in Grade 5 titanium and water-resistant to 100 meters, the 42 mm case of this special edition is also unmistakably based on the genetic codes first defined 50 years ago. The most eye-catching feature is the octagonal bezel, with softly rounded corners and a gentle downward slope to the outer edge, satin-brushed on the top and brightly polished on the sides. The bezel sits atop a polished ring; together, these two components crown the case's distinctive middle part, which flows seamlessly into the ergonomically shaped lugs and bracelet. Even the beveled edge of the case is continued in the wide, satin-finished H-shaped links of the, while the central, slightly curved links shine with a polished finish.

Girard-Perregaux has fitted this emblematic case with its GP03300 chronograph caliber. The automatic movement has 46 hours of power reserve in the tank and beats with 4 Hz. Its technical prowess is complemented by exemplary finishing including “Côtes de Genève”, chamfering and straight graining, all visible through the sapphire case back with Aston Martin logo.

Pricing is marked at $22,700.
