In a collaboration that bridges the world of timekeeping with the spirit of American automotive and motorcycle culture, Seiko presents a cool new addition to its mechanical-entry segment, the Seiko 5 Sports collection. The SKX Series Mooneyes Limited Edition (SRPL39) is a limited run of 1,500 pieces globally. Reimagining the classic SKX design with the bold Mooneyes branding, it incorporates the signature yellow and black color scheme that has become synonymous with the California-based brand embedded in motorsport culture.

The bezel and indices are designed with a checkered flag motif, drawing inspiration from the world of rally racing and the high-performance ethos of Mooneyes. Additionally, the brand's logo appears not only on the luminescent dial featuring a weekday and date indication, but also on the transparent case back that displays the self-winding caliber 4R36 with a power reserve of 41 hours.
