Union Glashütte is renowned for its successful retro style, which seamlessly combines expressive vintage designs, often inspired by the world of automobiles, with state-of-the-art Glashütte-originated calibers. The latest example is the Belisar Chronograph Speedster Limited Edition, an automatic chronograph with an "Electric Blue" dial inspired by the color scheme of a 1970s vintage car. It is housed in a 316L stainless steel case with a diameter of 44 mm and a water resistance of 10 bar.

As is typical for the limited editions of the Belisar collection the chronograph pushers are executed in mushroom-style and the dial is furnished with a tachymeter scale on its periphery for measuring distances. The intense blue color way serves as a proverbially cool background for the black hour and minute totalizers. The one at six o'clock integrates a date window. The hands are coated with Superluminova for readability at night. The central stop second hand has a white tip that beautifully complements the style of the moderately sized Arabic numerals.
