Louis Erard’s collaboration with contemporary Swiss artist Sylvie Fleury introduces a stunning new edition of their Régulateur model, featuring a design that mimics a makeup set with striking realism. This unique timepiece adds a playful yet sophisticated twist to the classic regulator-style watch, offering a fresh interpretation of timekeeping with a nod to the world of beauty and fashion.

The new Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Sylvie Fleury Palette of Shadows features two expressive color shades that evoke a freshly opened makeup palette. The design pays homage to the regulator style, where hour, minute, and second hands are traditionally displayed separately— an approach once used in observatories and watchmaking workshops for precise time reference.

In this iteration, the upper sub-dial, in a light coral-red hue, indicates the hours, while the lower sub-dial, in a deeper magenta-red, shows the seconds. The minute hand remains centered, in classic regulator fashion, creating a striking contrast with the colorful sub-dials. The watch's black background and black-coated stainless steel case enhance the visual impact of the vibrant colors, creating the illusion of a compact makeup box.

The collaboration with Fleury is subtly highlighted on the dial in a tone-on-tone inscription. Since 2018, Sylvie Fleury has been transforming makeup palettes into monumental works of art. Her paintings, which feature shaped canvases mimicking the forms of original makeup packaging, explore the nuances of color and texture, challenging the viewer to rethink everyday objects as artistic expressions.

The Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Sylvie Fleury Palette of Shadows is a limited edition of just 178 pieces, in keeping with Louis Erard's tradition of small, exclusive releases. The 39mm, 12.25mm thick case houses the automatic Sellita SW266-1 movement, decorated with the "elaboré" finish, and offering a 38-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the tinted sapphire crystal caseback, giving a glimpse of the fine mechanics within. The watch is complemented by a black lacquered leather strap, adding to its refined and elegant aesthetic.
