Romain Gauthier adds a new execution to its luxury sports watch C that was introduced in 2021. As dubbed in the name, the C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Bracelet features the Swiss independent brand's first bracelet crafted from light titanium grade 5.

In keeping with its brand value, "The Evolution of Tradition," a high level of handcraft and manual finishing goes into the production of the watch. Each link is composed of hand-polished and satin-finished surfaces that reflect the technical nature of the bracelet. In addition to its cool appearance, the bracelet also offers a high wearing comfort thanks to the lightness of the material and its meticulous creation process.

The same rings true for the case which has a diameter of 41mm and is likewise made from titanium grade 5. It is home to an in-house movement with manual winding, a stop-seconds mechanism, and a power reserve of 60 hours. Beating at 4hz and made from titanium, stainless steel, and German silver, it is distinguished by a superlative finishing quality.

Taking center stage are a number of finger bridges – historically typical of the Vallée de Joux, Romain’s home – but reinterpreted in a contemporary way. For starters, these bridges are horizontally configured and feature a ‘stepped’ shape that not only provides volume and depth, but also creates the illusion that the bridges are literally flowing over the gears and balance wheel. The contrasting tones and textures of various finishes further highlight the watch's charisma.

The outer edges of each bridge feature a double bevel, while the flat bridge surfaces and rubies are each framed by a raised border that has been straight-grained. Within these borders, the manufacture's specialists have used a hand-engraving technique to create a highly original dimpled texture. The movement's main plate has also been hand-frosted.

The impressive decoration doesn’t stop with the bridges and mainplate: Romain’s trademark gears and ratchet wheel features circular, bevelled spokes that are circular-grained, while the click, snail cam and screws with S-slot heads are highly polished. Finally, the lid of the mainspring barrel is embellished with a superb decoration.

Retail for the C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Bracelet is marked at approximately $45,000 when converted to USD.
