With its latest addition to the Polaris collection, Jaeger-LeCoultre proves that sporty designs and even diver's watches can be successfully combined with refined haute horlogerie complications. Dubbed the Polaris Perpetual Calendar, the new timepiece is the watchmaker's leading entry to this year's Watches & Wonders event.

The multiple indications of the perpetual calendar – day of the week, month, date, four-digit year, and leap year indication – are harmoniously displayed on the classic diver's watch dial with a beautiful, finely grained blue background. A detailed moon-phase display for the southern and northern hemispheres is also on board. The one for the southern hemisphere is indicated by a retrograde hand.

The Poloris's characteristic diver's watch scale placed on the flange under the sapphire crystal surrounds the impressive ensemble of indications, which is controlled by the manufacture calibre 868AA.

The automatic movement amasses a 70-hour power reserve and can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back of the 42-mm stainless steel case, which is water-resistant to 100 meters. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Perpetual Calendar is available in stainless steel for $29,600 and pink gold for $44,300.
