The Winners of the GPHG 2025

Geneva once again set the pace for the global watch community as the 25th edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève brought the industry together for a night of recognition, innovation and mechanical artistry.

Geneva pulsed with horological energy on Thursday, November 13, as the 25th GPHG awards ceremony unfolded in front of an international audience. Hosted by French presenter Antoine de Caunes, whose trademark blend of wit and elegance guided the evening, the event paid tribute to contemporary watchmaking and to the creators who dedicate their craft to capturing time in its most intricate forms.

Editions), Karl-Friedrich Scheufele (Co-president of Chopard), Caroline Scheufele (Co-president and artistic director of Chopard), Pascal Béchu (Managing director of Angelus), Ilaria Resta (CEO of Audemars Piguet), Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini (Master watchmakers and founders of La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton), Kari Voutilainen (Owner and watchmaker of Voutilainen), Arnaud Nicolas (CEO and creative director of L'Épée), Dominic Backes (Dior General manager, Central and Eastern Europe), Alex Rosenfield (Co-CEO of Urban Jürgensen), Pascal Raffy (President of Bovet 1822), Michel Nydegger (CEO of Greubel Forsey), Jean-Christophe Babin (CEO Bvlgari & CEO of LVMH Watch Division), Arnaud Nicolas (CEO and creative director of L'Épée), Anton Suhanov (Founder and chief designer of Anton Suhanov), Dai Xinyan (Founder of Fam Al Hut) and Benoît de Clerck (CEO of Zenith).

Presided over by journalist, author and historian Nick Foulkes, the Academy and the 2025 Jury selected 19 winning timepieces that reflect the industry’s ongoing dynamism. The night’s highest distinction, the “Aiguille d'Or” Grand Prix, went to Breguet for its Classique Souscription 2025 — a creation that exemplifies the maison’s mastery of heritage, refinement and technical depth.

A wide spectrum of watchmaking talent was also recognised, with Angelus, Anton Suhanov, Audemars Piguet, Bovet 1822, Bvlgari, Chopard, Daniel Roth, Dennison, Dior Montres, Fam Al Hut, Gérald Genta, Greubel Forsey, L’Épée 1839, M.A.D. Editions, Urban Jürgensen, Voutilainen and Zenith earning awards for pieces that push the limits of design, engineering and mechanical expression.

The Special Jury Prize this year was presented to Alain Dominique Perrin, president of the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, acknowledging his visionary contribution to promoting fine watchmaking on the world stage.

The 90 nominated timepieces, including all 19 winners, remain on display at the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire in Geneva until November 16, 2025. The award-winning creations will then travel to Dubai, where they will be presented from November 19 to 23 during Dubai Watch Week.
