The Overseas Collection represents Vacheron Constantin's ideals of a modern-day luxury sports watch. Subtly reworked in 2016, it not only boasts a robust design— including various tool-free interchangeable straps— but also features a distinctive silhouette. The collection also, of course, features sophisticated in-house calibers, whose exceptional quality and finishing details are confirmed by the famed Geneva Seal.

The latest addition to the collection embodying the spirit of travel is the Overseas Tourbillon High Jewelry. This timepiece introduces two premieres to the line by combining white gold with the signature blue dial that shines with a sunburst pattern. Additionally, the bezel, designed in the shape of a Maltese cross, is adorned for the first time with diamonds in baguette style, 85 of them to be precise.

Naturally, the minute tourbillon, positioned at 6 o'clock, takes center stage on the luminescent dial. The Maltese cross – a Vacheron Constantin signature – is also found on the carriage of this filigree yet powerful mechanism that improves the precision rate by fighting the impact of gravity to the regulating organ.

This high horology complication is part of an ultra-thin movement, the Caliber 2160 which beats at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of 80 hours. It is only 5.65mm thick, making the white gold case, with a diameter of 42.5 mm and a height of 10 mm, also a masterpiece of engineering. Thanks to the screw-down crown, the watch is waterproof to 50 meters.

The sapphire crystal case back displays beautiful finishes, such as hand-beveled bridges adorned with Côtes de Genève chamfered and polished screws, and a 22K gold peripheral rotor that contributes to the overall slimness of the movement and allows an unobstructed view onto its intricate details.

As is typical for the Overseas collection, the watch comes with rubber and leather strap in addition to the bracelet that is crafted from white gold.
