Looking at details on the re-release, the gray dial of the chronograph also features a sandblasted texture, being framed by a concave unidirectional rotating bezel accented with a sporty rubber coating. Beneath the dial works the automatic manufacture caliber UN-150, which uses silicon technology developed in-house by the traditional Swiss manufacture; the escapement wheel, pallet and hairspring are made of this innovative material. In keeping with the theme of the re-launch, a silhouette of the endangered marine predator adorns the case back and the strap.
