Chopard's Alpine Eagle sports watch collection, which is dedicated to the Swiss Alps and one of their most fascinating animal species, the eagle, welcomes a new dial color available for the 41-mm lineup. Like Aletsch Blue, Bernina Grey, and Absolute Black colorways which have preceded the latest addition, the new "Pine Green" is inspired by natural colors shaping the beauty of the Alpine biotope.

The expressive shade is highlighted by the signature texture distinguished by a radiating pattern, which evokes the eye of an eagle, and makes for a magnificent backdrop for the rhodium-plated or gold-plated hour-markers and hands enhanced with luminous coating. Positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, the date is indicated on a color-coordinated disc.

This execution of the Alpine Eagle is available in Chopard's genuine Lucent Steel A223 or in 18-carat rose gold. In keeping with the ethical commitment of the manufacture, the brand claims its gold is ethically sourced and its Lucent Steel A223 is made from 70% recycled material. In addition to its anti-allergenic composition, the special steel further offers properties comparable to surgical steel, making it highly dermo-compatible. With its resistance of 223 Vickers, this alloy is also 50% more resistant to abrasion than conventional steel and has a unique hardness. The case features a svelte height of 9.7mm and remains water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters.

Inside this modern luxury sports watch we find Chopard's 01.01-C automatic manufacture caliber that offers a power reserve of 60 hours, a C.O.S.C. chronometer certificate, a stop seconds function and meticulous finishings, which come to life through the exhibition case back.

Part of the proceeds from sales of these models will be donated to the Alpine Eagle Foundation, whose programs have already enabled the reintroduction of the white-tailed eagle in the Lake Geneva region. Pricing is marked at approximately $54,305 for the gold execution and $15,781 for the Lucent Steel A223 when converted to USD.

In line with the trend of smaller proportions, Chopard introduces an additional five iterations with the new case diameter of 33mm. They are likewise available in Lucent Steel A223 and the brand's Lucent Steel A223 ethical 18-carat rose gold as well as two-tone combinations and diamond-set bezel options.

The smaller case is 7.95 mm thick and water-resistant to 50 meters, with it housing the self-winding Chopard 09.01-C movement, beating at a precise 25,200 vibrations an hour (3.5 Hz). Endowed with a 42-hour power reserve, this caliber is also equipped with a stop-seconds function for accurate time-setting and earns a C.O.S.C. chronometer certificate for proven accuracy. Retail starts at approximately $10,500 when converted to USD.
