Each watch is housed in a 41mm stainless steel 316L case measuring 12.75mm in height, with a slim concave bezel, softly rounded lugs, a crown placed at 4 o’clock, and a see-through sapphire case back. Power comes from reliable Soprod automatic movements. Designed, developed, and hand-assembled in BA111OD’s own workshop on Place des Halles in the heart of Neuchâtel, the Chapter 8 models reflect both precision and local craftsmanship. The sandblasted dials are offered in sand, gray, black, or white and play elegantly with light and texture. Faceted, polished hands and slim hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova to ensure legibility day and night. Water resistant to 50 meters, the watches balance everyday functionality with understated elegance.

Chapter 8 Moonphase

As its name suggests, the Chapter 8 Moonphase brings one of watchmaking’s most poetic complications to the forefront. Unusually placed at 10 o’clock, the moonphase is rendered in classic style, showing Earth’s satellite against a star-studded night sky. It is complemented by a small seconds display between 7 and 8 o’clock and a discreet date window at 4 o’clock.

Inside ticks the Soprod C105 automatic caliber with a 42-hour power reserve. BA111OD offers the Moonphase with a choice of Milanese mesh or leather strap, each fitted with a folding clasp. Pricing is set at $1,240.

The Chapter 8 three-hand model embodies BA111OD’s vision of a contemporary dress watch with date display. Its sandblasted dial, available in sand, gray, black, or white, offers subtle texture, while faceted and polished hands with luminous coating ensure easy readability in low light.
