Notably, Duratect assists in keeping the surface of the watch free from scratches while maintaining the glossiness of the finish. In addition to its all-black case, also making its debut in the Series 8 collection via this model is the lightweight and durable carbon material used for the dial's construction. The material is the same as that used in aircraft and high-performance sports cars, being valued for its incredible strength for its weight.
