"Life's like a movie. Write your own ending." Jim Henson's Kermit the Frog has been cheering us up with life lessons and advice since he first hit the big screen in 1955. An ambassador of peace, love, and joy, The Muppet Show's friendly character's messages are always about having a good time with friends and seizing the day – after all, he was the first of his family to leave the swamp and make the most of it.

This attitude inspired Oris to create a "not-so-serious" and refreshingly light-hearted special edition of its 39mm titanium ProPilot X timepiece. "Grinning from ear to ear", the Swiss independent brand is delighted to introduce the ProPilot X Kermit Edition.

On the first of every month, the date window at 6 o’clock will show an illustration of Kermit the Frog. It goes without saying that the dial whose indices and hands are coated with luminous material is a light green hue that recalls Kermit's color.

Inside the ProPilot X Kermit Edition ticks the highly praised genuine Caliber 400, which includes a high accuracy rate regulated to -3/+5 seconds a day, extreme anti-magnetism, 120-hour (or 5-day) power reserve via twin barrels, and a 10-year extended warranty with service recommendation. The movement is covered by a sapphire caseback. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters and comes on a titanium bracelet with a folding clasp and Oris-patented ‘LIFT’ system.

Pricing for the Oris ProPilot X Kermit Edition is marked at approximately $4,450 when converted to USD.
