Mühle-Glashütte Introduces the 29er Big GMT

With the new 29er Big GMT, Mühle-Glashütte expands its sport-elegant 29er collection with a dual-time model powered by a modified Sellita SW 330-2 movement and housed in one of the slimmest cases in the series.

Designed for travelers with an active lifestyle, the new 29er Big GMT adds a second time-zone display to Mühle-Glashütte’s contemporary sports-watch lineup. The watch combines the collection’s restrained nautical-inspired design language with practical GMT functionality, while maintaining the slim proportions that distinguish the 29er family.

The second time zone is displayed on the outer 24-hour ring in gray, accented by a light-blue “24” marker. A white GMT hand with a blue triangular tip points to the scale while preserving visibility of the primary time display beneath it. The main dial is rendered in black with contrasting white minute markings and applied hour indices, while the date display and markers are set slightly below the main dial surface to create additional depth and improve legibility.

Water resistant to 100 meters, the steel case measures 42.4mm in diameter and 9.8mm in height, making it one of the thinnest executions within the 29er line. The reduced profile is achieved through a newly designed mid-case construction adapted to the slimmer SW 330-2 automatic movement with Mühle specification. Alternating brushed and polished finishes add contrast to the otherwise restrained case design.

Inside operates the automatic Sellita-based caliber SW 330-2 in a proprietary Mühle version. The movement features the brand’s shock-resistant woodpecker-neck regulation system, hacking seconds, quick-set date, and a 56-hour power reserve. Like all Mühle novelties introduced in 2026, the caliber is fitted with a commemorative rotor marking “Three Decades of Wristwatches,” referencing the company’s entry into wristwatch production in 1996. Mühle-Glashütte also states that each movement is regulated in six positions to achieve a rate deviation between 0 and +8 seconds per day, with the adjustment philosophy intended to prevent the watch from running slow.

The 29er Big GMT is available on either a leather strap or canvas strap with quick-release spring bars. In addition to the blue canvas version, the model is offered with black leather as well as stone-gray and coffee-brown canvas strap options. Pricing is marked at €2,300 or approximately $2,670 when converted to USD.
