Panerai has been collaborating with the U.S. Navy SEALs for several years, offering exclusive limited-edition timepieces that include unique "Experience" models. These watches not only boast exceptional design and craftsmanship but also provide their owners with the opportunity to embark on extraordinary adventures with Panerai. As part of this collaboration, the brand has previously organized several trips to visit the Navy SEALs in Florida.

Now, building on the success of its earlier limited editions, Panerai is unveiling a new capsule collection, inspired directly by the Navy SEALs. The four new models – Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT Navy SEALs Carbotech (PAM01513), Submersible QuarantaQuattro Navy SEALs (PAM01518), Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Titanio (PAM01521), and Submersible Navy SEALs Titanio (PAM01669) share distinctive design elements, such as the "Navy SEALs" inscription at 6 o'clock on the dial, a small seconds subdial featuring a bullseye target design, and the official Navy SEALs logo engraved on the case back. Additionally, the watches are equipped with sand-colored Superluminova indexes and a rubber strap with a textile upper layer featuring the U.S. Navy's AOR1 camouflage pattern. The watch quartet comes with an additional black accordion rubber strap. Additionally, the PAM01518, PAM01669, and PAM01521 feature a quick-change system for easy strap swapping.

The PAM01518 is a 44mm satin-brushed stainless steel automatic three-hand watch with a gradient dial that darkens from a charcoal center to a nearly black edge. The unidirectional rotating bezel and signature crown guard with lever ensure a water-resistance to 300 meters, while the screw-down case back provides added security.

The P.900 automatic movement powers the iconic small seconds at 9 o'clock with a three-day power reserve. This movement is one of the thinnest self-winding calibers in Panerai's portfolio and now includes a hacking seconds function. In order to maintain a clean, minimalist design that enhances legibility, the PAM01518 deliberately forgoes a date display.

Pricing is marked at $10,200.

Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT Navy SEALs Carbotech PAM01513

The GMT watch in Panerai's Navy SEALs capsule collection, the Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT Navy SEALs Carbotech PAM01513, features a 44mm case crafted from Carbotech. This carbon fiber-based composite material, frequently used by Panerai, is 64% lighter than titanium and 80% lighter than steel, while offering exceptional strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. The material is created by compressing layers of carbon fiber at precise temperatures and under high pressure with PEEK (Polyetheretherketone), a polymer that significantly enhances the material's robustness and longevity.

Each watch boasts a unique appearance due to the irregular matte black surface of the Carbotech, which varies depending on the cut of the material. The dial darkens from an anthracite center to a black edge, while the unidirectional rotating bezel allows for accurate timekeeping during dives.

At the heart of the serious divers watch ticks the automatic P.900/GMT caliber, which provides a three-day power reserve and a second time zone display. The GMT hand, coated with Super-Luminova, glows green in the dark, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. Designed for deep-sea diving, the Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT is water-resistant up to 50 bar (500 meters), making it a reliable companion for underwater exploration.

Pricing is marked at $19,700.

The Panerai Submersible Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01669 is a bold addition to the Navy SEALs capsule collection, featuring a robust 47mm Grade 5 titanium case. This larger model continues the tradition of Panerai’s first wristwatch, offering both a nod to heritage and modern technical innovations. The unidirectional rotating bezel is crafted from Carbotech, the same advanced material used in other models in the collection, while the dial transitions from anthracite to black, providing a dynamic visual effect.

Water-resistant to 300 meters, this dive watch is equipped with a screw-down caseback and a titanium pin buckle for maximum security during deep-sea adventures.

Powering the PAM01669 is the sophisticated P.9010 automatic movement. More advanced than the P.900 caliber, it allows for independent adjustment of the hour hand in one-hour increments, while the minute hand continues running. This feature, commonly found in GMT watches with in-house movements, simplifies adjusting the time when traveling between time zones without compromising precision.

The P.9010 caliber also offers a three-day power reserve, achieved through its twin barrels, and includes a date function and hacking seconds for accurate time-setting.

Pricing is marked at $13,700.

Unlike the first three unlimited models in Panerai’s Navy SEALs capsule collection, the Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01521 is strictly limited to just 80 pieces. This bold 47mm chronograph, crafted from DLC-coated titanium, features a unidirectional bezel made of the same material, with a ceramic inner ring for added durability and scratch resistance.

At the heart of this timepiece is the P.9100/R automatic movement, offering a three-day power reserve and a flyback chronograph function. One of its standout features is a countdown function, allowing wearers to measure time leading up to an event or target. The movement is equipped with a vertical clutch and column wheel, ensuring the central minute counter of the chronograph advances precisely every 60 seconds. The countdown can be adjusted using the pusher at 4 o’clock, with the minute hand jumping back by one minute with each press until the desired time is set. The chronograph is started via the pusher at 10 o’clock.

The P.9100/R caliber’s 72-hour power reserve is achieved through two barrels working in sequence, providing consistent and stable power delivery. The watch also features a screw-down case back made of black DLC-coated titanium, enhancing its water resistance to 500 meters, making it suitable for the most demanding underwater missions.

Pricing is marked at $34,200.
