TAG Heuer and Porsche today announced the launch of the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 - Porsche Edition. This luxury connected watch is inspired by the design of the all-electric Porsche Taycan collection and offers exclusive Wear OS features for Porsche owners by displaying information from the car directly on the dial, such as the percentage of the car battery and the milage. The watch face is adorned with a design that evokes circuit board. Additionally, the Google’s Wear OS system offers a range of exclusive timers and sport apps created for running, cycling, swimming, golf and more.

The product release follows upon the launch of the TAG Heuer x Porsche Carrera Chronograph last year and a limited edition at Watches & Wonders this year and is a result of the global partnership that the two companies started in 2021. According to TAG Heuer, the debutante features some technical improvements compared to previous generations of TAG Heuer Connected watches, such as a brighter screen, a higher contrast, and a battery life which is 30% longer than previous models. When moderately used, the fully charged battery will last for one day.

Both the watch and software are distinguished by elements in frozen blue which are used for the exterior of the Taycan. Their owners and those of some other Porsches – among them the Panamera (G2 II models from 2022 onwards), Panamera (G2), 911 (992 models from 2022 onwards), and Cayenne (E3 models from 2022 onwards) – will have access to the information of their cars displayed on the watch face.

The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 - Porsche Edition revs up in a large 45-mm case in sandblasted black titanium sporting a black ceramic bezel. It is imprinted with a tachymeter scale ranging from zero to 400, referencing the Porsche car’s speed. The titanium case back is engraved with ‘TAG Heuer x Porsche’ around the LED heart rate sensor. The smartwatch will be available from September 2022 for $2,750.
