Circula Launches Facet Special Edition With Beautiful Guilloché Dial by Jochen Benzinger

Circula's latest Facet pairs a striking hand-guilloché sterling silver dial crafted on a historic rose engine and brought to life by the known master artist Jochen Benzinger.

From the heart of the German Gold City, Pforzheim, Circula unveils an extraordinary interpretation of its Facet collection: a strictly limited special edition of seven watches featuring a hand-guilloché sterling silver dial by master engraver Jochen Benzinger. Crafted on a 1900 rose engine in Pforzheim, each dial is a miniature work of art. Benzinger, internationally revered for his mastery of traditional guilloché techniques, lends the Facet a dial of remarkable depth and animation. The solid sterling silver base is painstakingly decorated by hand, producing a complex moiré pattern that shifts dynamically with changing light. The effect is almost hypnotic: waves of reflection and shadow ripple across the surface from the date indication at 6 o'clock. A subtle yet powerful Carpe-Diem statement. The meticulous pattern creates a cool contrast against the Facet’s sharply defined case silhouette. The gun-plated, six-sided hands and faceted indices are filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9 to allow for readability in the dark.

Water-resistant to 100 meters, the case remains true to the collection’s style: a composition of intersecting straight lines with alternating brushed and polished finishes. At just 9.9mm in height and measuring 38mm wide, the proportions are balanced and contemporary. A flat sapphire crystal with triple anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while a sapphire exhibition case back, secured by four screws, reveals the Swiss-La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement with 68 hours of power reserve.

The Facet Special Edition will be available exclusively through the brand’s online shop beginning February 26, 2026. Limited to seven pieces worldwide, it is priced at $5,340 (including taxes). Each watch is delivered with both a faceted bracelet and an additional suede leather strap, both equipped with quick-release spring bars.
