Chopard, Corum, & Ulysse Nardin Unveil Timepieces for Only Watch 2013

As the Only Watch charity auction draws nearer, more brands have unveiled their unique contributions to the sale. Below we take a look at the one-of-kind watches from Chopard, Corum, and Ulysse Nardin to be auctioned in Monaco on September 28th... Chopard will offer a unique L.U.C Tourbillon model featuring movement bridges adorned with relief or “filet” engravings (also known as Fleurisanne engraving) of DNA strands. The 18k white gold hand-engraved dial bears the coat-of-arms of the Principality of Monaco, encircled by a DNA strand. The watch comes in a 43-mm titanium case and as a 9 day power reserve. Corum is donating a unique version of its Ti-Bridge 3-Day Power Reserve,containing Corum's trademark baguette movement. The watch has a two-tone titanium and rose-gold case. The sides of the case, in 18k rose gold, feature handcrafted engravings of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine, and a serpent entwined around his staff, known as a symbol of medicine. Ulysse Nardin's contribution to the auction is the Marine Chronometer Manufacture Only Watch, featuring a handcrafted enamel dial produced by Donzé Cadrans, the world-recognized enamel-dial specialist and a member of the Ulysse Nardin group of companies. House within its 44-mm, 18k rose gold case is Ulysse Nardin's UN-118 caliber with a 60-hour power reserve.
