Established in 2017, STAGE developed its first watch, aptly named PHASE ONE, and had the whole batch of them sold within an extremely short period. The brand then spent over two years in developing its new dive watch series, and is now ready to introduce it at the beginning of 2020. For this new collection, STAGE adopted crystal material for the case — a groundbreaking development in the history of watchmaking. This innovation makes its debut in the new DEPTH ONE “Atlantis” series.
The design inspiration for the new series comes from the concept of Atlantis, the mythical land of advanced civilization submerged under the ocean. While many believe the existence of Atlantis is only a myth; STAGE has found a way to turn it into reality. The watches in the new series possesses a multi-shell structure built with three different materials, including the use of crystal on the case, a rarity for a dive watch. Even with such an unusual structural design, the DEPTH ONE "Atlantis" is still a professional-grade divers' timepiece, with a water-resistance rating reaching as high as 300 meters.

The dial features a bold, layered design composed of multiple concentric circles to mimic the landscape of the legendary undersea kingdom. The bottom layer, which has been made semi-transparent, is a highlight: it imitates the beautiful ocean surrounding Atlantis. On the exterior, the use of crystal for the case evokes the mysteriousness of this underwater civilization. Inside the crystal exterior a layer in 316L stainless steel ensures a high level of water resistance. A noctilucent signature has been specially marked on the side of the case, next to the 9 o'clock numeral, to magnify the ingenuity of Atlantis — both the lost land and the watch.

The date disk adopts an innovative, hollow design with a noctilucent plate at the back. Both the date and the markers will glow in the dark, calling to mind the glow of a mysterious city deep in darkness beneath the waves. Unlike any other dive watch, the Atlantis's strap is linked under the case to avoid covering up any part of the exquisite crystal exterior. Equipped with the Sellita SW200-1 caliber, the DEPTH ONE "Atlantis" series strives to impress with both its aesthetics and functionality.
