Zenith Launches Defy Skyline Boutique Edition

At this year’s LVMH Watch Week, which took place in Singapore from January 10 to 12, Zenith’s Defy line took center stage. Among the four new models the time-honored Swiss brand introduced to this family, the Defy Skyline Boutique Edition is a picture-perfect contemporary luxury sports watch. Debuting in a 41mm octagonal steel case with a water resistance of 100 meters, it features an expressive anthracite dial engraved with a pink gold four-pointed star motif and equipped with pink gold hands and hour markers. The color-coordinated date indication at 3 o’clock is framed by a pink gold window. Hands and markers, including the subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock that indicates 1/10 of a second, are coated with Super-Luminova.

The watch is powered by the El Primero 3620 automatic high-frequency caliber, which is visible through the sapphire case back. This in-house movement provides a power reserve of 60 hours and is equipped with a bidirectional rotor in the shape of a star and offers a stop-seconds function for precise time setting.

The Defy Skyline Boutique Edition is presented on a steel bracelet with a satin-brushed surface with chamfered and polished edges as well as a black rubber strap with a starry sky pattern. Thanks to a quick change mechanism, they can be exchanged without any tools.

As the name implies, the new Zenith Defy Skyline Boutique Edition will be sold exclusively from Zenith boutiques, physical and online. The watch will be available beginning in February 2023. Pricing is marked at approximately $9,600 when converted to USD.
