Two Victorinox Swiss Army Watches Celebrate Two Victorinox Anniversaries

The other new watch, the Dive Master 500, celebrates the 25th anniversary of the first Swiss Army watches, launched in 1989, and is described by Victorinox as the “Swiss Army knife of dive watches.” It is a limited and numbered edition in a grade 2 titanium case and powered by an automatic mechanical chronograph movement, the ETA 2894-2. The bracelet is also made of titanium, with the same sandblasted matte gray finish as the case. The watch’s dial, in the same gray tone, completes the Dive Master’s monochrome look.

The luminescent substance used on the minute hand and the 20-minute scale is different from that used on the other areas, changing to blue rather than green in the dark so as to emphasize the most important indicator for diving. The watch has a helium release valve at 9 o’clock and a date window at 4:30. The central chronograph seconds hand is in “Swiss Army knife red” and the small seconds are on a subdial at 3 o’clock. The case of the Dive Master 500 — which, as its name implies, is water-resistant to 500 meters — has a sapphire viewing window in the caseback so the wearer can see the movement. The Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master 500 is priced at $3,295.

I own an all stainless Victorinox Inox watch and I think it is one of the most beautiful watch in my collection. I was wondering where can I buy a rubber guard that came with the watch. I’ve been searching the official website and all they have is the newer one that covers the whole body of the watch, which I think takes away the beauty of the watch. Where can I find one that came with the watch?

I’ve had this watch for a whole year now and I am so happy I bought it! It 8s my favorite time piece amongst my growing collection. It is well constructed and has a heavy feel to it so you know it’s well built.

I have a Victorinox Dive Master 500 with blue dial and blue rubber strap ref no. 241425. I am extremely happy with it although my only gripe is that I wish it had a Helium Escape Valve and if this is anything to go by, then this model is going to be a ripper!! It looks amazing. The lume is so strong and long lasting. My only concern with this watch is that it seems a little overpriced in that it has no In-House movement and is not Chronometer certified. On the other hand it does have a Titanium case and is also a Limited Edition. At this price point I would expect these features to be present. If not having a chronograph function does not bother you, then this will compete well against a Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster and also a Ball DeepQuest which have Tritium Tubes and are COSC Chronometer Certified.
