Spotlight on the Casio Edifice EQB900DB-2A

The latest Casio Edifice (dubbed the EQB900DB-2A) offers a variety of new technology along with a sporty design in a midsize case. Connected through Casio’s Smartphone Link system, the wristwatch automatically pairs with its owner’s smartphone through a dedicated Bluetooth button. An “Accurate Time System” inside the watch connects to the internet through the Smartphone Link system to ensure the watch’s time, time zone, and DST settings remain accurate to the second. The case of the EQB900DB-2A is 2.3 mm smaller in diameter, 2.1 mm thinner, and approximately 25% lighter than the EQB-500D, which was the first solar-powered Edifice that you could link to your smartphone. Between 6 and 7 o’clock, you can find a high-brightness LED light source that illuminates the dial when necessary. Other noteworthy features include a lost phone finder, one-push reset, daily alarm, 300-city world time, a power saving mode where the hands stop when at rest in the dark, battery level indicator, date at 4 o’clock, and 100-meter water resistance.

The Casio Edifice EQB900DB-2A is priced at $320.
