Nomos Glashütte Launches Tetra Neomatik – 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte in Four Intriguing Colorways

Since Nomos Glashütte was founded over 25 years ago, the Tetra has been an integral part of the collection. The only form watch of the house, it is aimed at lovers of rectangular timepieces. As one of the models of the first hour, the Tetra offers all the characteristic features that Nomos aficionados appreciate: classic simplicity, straightforward design and top-notch manufacture mechanics. The stainless-steel timepiece has also been a pioneer in terms of color, as the brand introduced many special editions with intriguing hues, often in limited editions, over the course of the last two decades.

Now Nomos Glashütte introduces a limited edition of four Tetra models taking color to a new dimension, the Tetra neomatik – 175 Years of Watchmaking Glashütte. Bold red, blue, black and off white are applied using a technique whose effect is similar to that of enamel: incident light is reflected rather than absorbed by the opaque surfaces.

For the first time in the collection, the Tetra neomatik – 175 Years of Watchmaking Glashütte which has a diameter of 33.0 mm × 33.0 mm is powered by the brand’s genuine neomatik caliber DUW 3001 which is notably thin despite its self-winding mechanism and known for its chronometric precision.

Limited to 175 pieces each, the Tetra neomatik – 175 Years of Watchmaking Glashütte retails for $3,860.
